Dehydrating

drinking enough water is essential for healthy skin and not having any health issues. Unfortunately, in dry and winter weather we usually run out of water that results in dehydration. Therefore one must drink plenty of water to have healthy and spotless skin.

Diet

whatever you eat it appears from your skin therefore if you are eating loads of oily and junk food than don’t expect to look young and healthy. Similarly eating fruits and salads along with protein-rich food is exponantionaly healthy for skin and health.

Insomnia

dark circles are usually caused by not sleeping well and over stressing than needed. Therefore beauty nap can also reduce the dark circles.

Constipation

As mentioned earlier about the dehydration it results in constipation, therefore, one must make sure to have plenty of water and fibrous food that ease the movement of food along the digestive tract.

Baking Soda for Dark Circles

As natural lightener baking soda is wondrous for dark circles and can be used to reduce the darker patches on the overall skin. In addition, it also helps in exfoliating the dead skin cells and cleans up the skin pores. It also balances the pH and thus act as super antiseptic and reduces the bacterial and fungal colonies.

Ingredients:

  1. Baking soda                                                       1 teaspoon
  2. Chamomile tea/ filtered water                             1 teaspoon

How to make and apply:

  • Take a small bowl and add baking soda and chamomile tea or filtered water.
  • Mix well until it forms a smooth paste.
  • Make sure to have runny consistency and you can add water or baking soda to balance the consistency.
  • Now add cotton ball in the paste and apply on the eyes around the dark circles.
  • Leave it for 20 minutes and even more.
  • Now rinse your eyes and apply some moisturizer.
  • As baking soda is a strong cleansing agent so it’s not recommended to use more often.
  • However, you can use it for cleansing makeup and also twice a week.
  • Must have a skin patch test to make sure you don’t have any kind of allergy to the ingredients.
