DIY remedies are worth trying as they won’t harm you even if you didn’t get what you wanted at first. Whatever but it’s most effective for many of us without any harmful side effects? Basically, this DIY scrub contains sugar as a cleansing agent because it penetrates into the skin and exfoliates the dead skin cells. and makes space for newly growing cells.

In addition, coconut oil enhances the growth of fresh and healthy cells by providing essential moisturizers to the skin. Essential oil provides necessary vitamins to the skin making it fresh and smooth and spotless.

Ingredients needed:

  1. White sugar                                           2/3 cup
  2. Coconut oil                                            ½ cup
  3. Peppermint essential oil                        8-10 drops
  4. Lavender/mint/chamomile                    dried 1-2 teaspoon

Always use organic and genuine ingredients for better results as synthetic or unknown brands might have impurities or chemicals that might cause infections.

How to make:

  • Melt the coconut oil in the microwave or on the stove using heat.
  • Now nix sugar and coconut oil in a bowl.
  • Then add essential oil and stir well.
  • Now use your palms to slightly crush the dried herbs and add in the mixture. Basically dried herbs also produce the exfoliating texture to the scrub.
  • Lastly, mix all ingredients in a bowl and transfer the whole content to an airtight jar.
  • Your homemade feet scrub is ready to be used.
  • Label the jar and keep it in the bathroom cabinet and use it as often as you can.

How to scrub:

  • The best time to use this scrub is bathing time.
  • Soak your feet in warm water for 10 minutes.
  • Now add 1 tablespoon on your palm and start scrubbing on the feet in a circular motion.
  • Balance the pressure on the most affected area and repeat the strokes on these zones.
  • Now wash your feet with soap and dry your feet.
  • Use olive oil or coconut oil to moisturize the feet and leave it.
  • You can also use it before going to bed and just rinse off the cream.
